Find the tone that is about to ring. Take it out. Leave the voice alone.

Feedback is a single frequency that grows until the whole room hears it. The plugin tracks the channel continuously, spots that growth a few cycles in, and places a narrow, short-lived notch on exactly that frequency.

Three steps, every few milliseconds

  1. Listen

The vocal channel is analysed block by block. Stable tones that keep gaining energy are flagged as candidates.

  2. Decide

A model trained on real stage recordings separates a ringing mic from a sustained note or a cymbal wash.

  3. Notch

A narrow filter drops in on the offending frequency and releases as soon as the ring is gone.

Where it sits in the chain

Insert it on the vocal channel, or on the main bus of a small rig. Runs as VST3 on Windows and AU on macOS. Zero added latency on the verified hosts.

Where people use it

Three typical setups. Pictures or short clips can replace the icons.

Live bands in small rooms

Loud stage, wedges pointed at the singer, no time for ring-out. The plugin holds the vocal at the level the band needs.

Halls and houses of worship

Reflective rooms, volunteers on the desk. Set it once and the same mic behaves every week.

Conference and rental rigs

Lapel mics, walking presenters, portable PA. One licence per laptop in the rental fleet.
